How to take a screenshot

In-game screenshot can be taken only in windowed mode. 

 

Screenshot is an image taken by the computer user to record the visible items displayed on the monitor. You can make a screenshot of the entire screen, active window or a defined area:

  1. Press Print Screen (sometimes it’s called PrtScn, PrtScr or PrtSc) - a snapshot of the entire screen will be copied to the clipboard. To take a screenshot of the active window only, press the key combination Alt + PrtScn. In Windows 8, you can press the key combination Win + PrtScn, to quickly take a screenshot of the entire screen and automatically save it in the Screenshots folder in your image library.
  2. Open any of the installed graphics editors, e.g., «Paint»: Start → Programs → Accessories → Paint.
  3. Go to the menu and select Edit → Paste (Windows Vista) or click Insert in the top menu (Windows 7, 8). You can also use the universal keyboard shortcut Ctrl + V.
  4. The image will be pasted from the clipboard into an image editor. If necessary, add text, or select individual picture elements.
  5. Save the screenshot to your computer: File → Save As; or press

Note. We recommend saving your image files in JPG or PNG - in this case, the file size will be optimal for sending to Support. You can choose the file format when you save the image in the File type box (at the bottom of the “Save as” screen).
