Cooperation with factions
There are four factions in Survarium at the moment:
Factions in Survarium perform the following functions:
- Availability of faction equipment. As the player gains reputation with a faction higher-level weapons and equipment will become available for purchase from that faction.
- Mission Rewards. The tasks generated by the factions are not only a means of improving reputation with them but also a way of earning money for the player.
When you first enter the game you will receive a message briefly explaining the role of factions in the game and offering to join one of the two primary factions: Scavengers or Black Market. Regardless of which of the proposed factions you choose in the future you will be able to switch from one to another.
Factions of a higher level are not available early in the game. To join them you have to achieve the maximum level of reputation with one of the primary factions ("Veteran" for Scavengers or "Elite" for Black Market).
To raise the level of reputation with a faction you must complete the missions that become available immediately after you select the faction. You can find them on the appropriate tab in the top menu bar. For each mission a player gets a certain number of "Silver" and reputation, depending on the difficulty of a mission.
Before the match you should pay attention to the minimum level of equipment required to perform a mission. If Your character's equipment level is lower than required - you won't be able to comlete the mission and you'll se a prompt in the lobby.
With each level of rank increase with a faction, check the store; there will definitely be something interesting available for purchase.
Items which are not yet available to your character will be shaded and tipped at what level and with what faction you can unlock the item for purchase.
More features of each faction and its rank can be found in the Knowledge Base "Factions" section.
